Khilafat, at its core, represents the implementation of oneness (tauheed) at a governmental level. It signifies the elimination of shirk (polytheism) in all its forms. Shirk manifests not only in belief but also subtly through hypocrisy and impure intentions. The most significant form of shirk, however, is the assertion of authority by anyone other than Allah. Sovereignty and the right to govern belong exclusively to Allah. Establishing a Khilafat system, therefore, is to implement tauheed in governance, rejecting any claim to authority outside of divine decree.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated that Allah showed him the entire Earth, its east and west. This revelation signifies that the influence and dominion of his community will eventually extend to all corners of the world. A further hadith indicates that no dwelling or nomadic settlement will remain where the message of Islam does not enter. This can happen either through acceptance of Islam by its inhabitants or through their submission to its principles. This lecture explores the implications of these prophecies for the future of Islam and its global reach.

The earliest form of worship was standing in prayer at night, initially for two-thirds, then one-third of the night, with recitation of the Quran. At that time, only a portion of the Quran had been revealed. Later, during the eleventh year, five daily prayers were mandated in Makkah. Before this, practices like fasting, interest, gambling, and alcohol were not prohibited. There was no complete established Sharia law; only faith (Iman) existed.

The door of repentance remains open for a considerable time, allowing individuals years to seek forgiveness. This opportunity continues until the setting of the sun from the west—a major sign of the approaching Day of Judgement. The Quran states that Allah will accept the repentance of those who turn to Him before this sign appears. Once the sun begins to rise from the west, the door of repentance will be closed, and any subsequent repentance will not be accepted. This emphasizes the urgency of seeking forgiveness while time remains.

Success and failure are defined not by worldly status or wealth, but by faith, righteous deeds, perseverance, and truthfulness. A person lacking worldly possessions may hold a high position in the eyes of God, and their oaths will be honored. True success lies in maintaining faith and performing good deeds even in times of hardship and poverty. Being poor or unknown is not a detriment if one remains steadfast in belief and practice.
