The Quran, as a revealed text, possesses inherent qualities of preservation and clarity. Early Surahs, though concise, contain complete guidance, exemplified by Surah Al-Asr, which, if revealed alone, would suffice as a comprehensive directive. The text details the importance of recognizing Allah as the sole object of worship, consistently emphasizing the roles of messengers as deliverers of glad tidings and warnings. Furthermore, the Quran urges believers to seek forgiveness from their Lord and return to Him, promising both worldly benefits and eventual reward. The concept of ‘Dhi Fadl’ – those deserving of grace – highlights Allah’s bestowal of abundance. The Quran also addresses the hypocrisy of those who conceal their true intentions, noting that Allah is aware of both outward actions and inner thoughts. Divine provision extends to all creatures, demonstrating a comprehensive system of sustenance, even before birth, such as a mother’s milk being readily available. Ultimately, the Quran emphasizes that the creation of the heavens and earth, and the establishment of Allah’s throne upon water, serves as a test to determine who among humanity performs the best deeds.
