The Quran elucidates a fundamental principle governing existence: the inherent conflict between truth (haq) and falsehood (batil). This concept is illustrated through the analogy of water and impurity. Just as clean water settles and proves beneficial, while surface scum dissipates, so too does truth ultimately prevail over falsehood. This dynamic applies to all aspects of life, including the evolution of ideas and civilizations. Beneficial concepts endure, while those lacking substance are discarded. This process, however, is not merely material; it is deeply connected to spiritual understanding and the acceptance of divine guidance. The Surah Al-Anbiya (21:18) reinforces this idea, stating that Allah strikes down truth upon falsehood, causing it to vanish. Those who respond to Allah’s call and fulfill their commitments, including upholding covenants made in the spiritual realm and adhering to Islamic law, are promised a reward in the afterlife, extending even to their righteous ancestors, spouses, and offspring. The ultimate reward is eternal dwelling in Paradise, attended by angels, and characterized by peace and blessings.
