The Quran describes the characteristics of true believers, emphasizing patience, humility, and righteous conduct. These individuals walk with modesty, recognizing themselves as servants of Allah rather than masters. When confronted by ignorance or provocation, they respond with peace and refrain from engaging in fruitless arguments. They dedicate their nights to worship, offering sincere devotion in prostration and prayer beyond the obligatory five daily prayers. Furthermore, the Quran highlights the importance of financial moderation, avoiding both extravagance and stinginess. It condemns major sins such as shirk (associating partners with Allah), unjustified murder, and adultery, as these acts corrupt individuals and societies. True believers abstain from false testimony and avoid unnecessary involvement in frivolous matters, prioritizing reflection upon the verses of the Quran. They beseech Allah to protect them from the torment of Hellfire, seeking refuge and guidance. The Quran also emphasizes the significance of maintaining strong family ties and seeking righteous offspring, praying for their guidance and well-being. Finally, it assures those who repent and do good deeds that Allah will replace their sins with good deeds.
