598 - ASH SHOORA (Ayat# 10-13)
The concept of establishing the divine system, or ‘aqamat al-din’, is central to Islamic belief, as emphasized in Surah Al-An'am. This principle highlights the comprehensive nature of faith, encompassing belief and action, individual practice and collective striving. The Quranic verses emphasize that the core essence of the message delivered by prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them) is fundamentally one – the worship of the one God. Differences in Sharia, or legal frameworks, do not alter this core unity. The verses stress the importance of upholding this singular faith and avoiding division or fragmentation within the community of believers. True faith necessitates not only acknowledging Allah’s sovereignty but also actively working to establish His guidance in all aspects of life. This includes resisting systems that divide loyalty between the divine and worldly authorities, and striving for a unified, just society governed by Allah’s principles. The verses also underscore Allah's complete knowledge and control over sustenance and decree, illustrating His absolute power and wisdom.
