708 - AL JUMAH (Ayat# 01-04)
The Quran serves as a powerful force attracting those with receptive hearts, initiating a process of spiritual and intellectual growth. This transformative process, spanning years, purifies the soul from flawed ideologies and establishes a foundation of righteous conduct. Quranic guidance encompasses not only the recitation of verses and the acquisition of knowledge, but also purification (tazkiyah), instruction (ta'leem), remembrance (tazkir), and the provision of good news (tabshir). The Quran addresses deeply rooted desires, such as worldly attachments and the pursuit of wealth, effectively diminishing their influence. The transmission of wisdom and understanding, a specialized area of study, is reserved for those granted divine aptitude. Allah bestows this wisdom upon whom He wills, particularly those initially lost in error. This divine favor extends beyond the unlettered people of Makkah to all who are receptive. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) left behind the Quran as a guiding light, a more powerful miracle than the staff of Musa. Its impact is contingent upon recognizing its authority and acting upon its principles. The greatest blessing bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was his humble beginnings—an orphan raised in hardship—demonstrating that true favor lies not in worldly comforts but in divine grace.
