Asli Miflas Ka Ehsaas - Understanding True Bankruptcy
Dr. Israr Ahmad explains the concept of true bankruptcy as defined in Islamic teachings. It’s not merely financial poverty, but a deficit in fulfilling rights owed to others. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked his companions who the truly bankrupt person is. They assumed it was someone without wealth. He corrected them, stating it is the one who comes with a large number of prayers, fasts, and pilgrimages, but has also wronged others – insulted them, consumed their wealth, or falsely accused them. On the Day of Judgement, their good deeds will be claimed by those they wronged, leaving them bankrupt before God. This lecture emphasizes the importance of ethical conduct and fulfilling obligations to others alongside religious observance.
