Islam mein Ghulamon ka Maqam - Status of Slaves in Islam

Islamic teachings address the status of slaves, referred to as ‘sharia londe’. These individuals, acquired through warfare or other means, were not subject to numerical limits like those governing marriage. The emphasis was on their gradual integration into society, treating them with kindness, providing them with the same food and clothing as oneself, and offering opportunities for manumission as atonement for sins.
