Jihad-e-Hind aur Akhri Zamana - Dr Israr Ahmad
This lecture analyzes a prophetic tradition concerning 'Jihad-e-Hind' and its connection to the events of the last era. It posits that the fulfillment of this tradition requires the re-establishment of a unified Islamic caliphate originating from the region of Pakistan and Afghanistan. This caliphate would then initiate military campaigns eastward towards India and westward towards regions including Iran, Egypt, and potentially Europe. The speaker connects this future conflict to the arrival of the Dajjal and the role of Jesus (Isa) in the final battle. The lecture further clarifies that previous incursions into India, such as those by Muhammad bin Qasim, Mahmud Ghazni, and Ahmad Shah Abdali, were distinct from the larger, eschatological conflict foretold in the hadith. The ultimate goal, according to the interpretation, is the recovery of Jerusalem and the re-establishment of Islamic rule.
