Human beings have a limited capacity for repentance and return to faith. As prejudice and obstinacy increase, individuals reach a point of no return, where their hearts are sealed by God. This sealing is not a sudden event but a gradual process resulting from consistent rejection, denial, and stubbornness. Once sealed, faith becomes impossible. This parallels the Quranic verse in Surah Baqarah, describing those who persistently reject guidance. The sealing affects their hearts, hearing, and vision, leaving them subject to divine punishment.

This lecture emphasizes the inseparable connection between faith and action. It asserts that a person who habitually breaks small promises is unlikely to fulfill larger, lifelong commitments. True faith and consistent action are intrinsically linked; one cannot exist without the other. The speaker highlights that faith without practical manifestation is incomplete, and consistent action without a foundation of faith is unsustainable. This bond is fundamental to a meaningful life and fulfilling one's purpose.

The door of repentance remains open for a considerable time, allowing individuals years to seek forgiveness. This opportunity continues until the setting of the sun from the west—a major sign of the approaching Day of Judgement. The Quran states that Allah will accept the repentance of those who turn to Him before this sign appears. Once the sun begins to rise from the west, the door of repentance will be closed, and any subsequent repentance will not be accepted. This emphasizes the urgency of seeking forgiveness while time remains.
