The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked about two men. One consistently performed only obligatory prayers, dedicating the rest of his time to educating others about goodness. The other fasted daily and spent every night in prayer. The Prophet stated the first man’s virtue over the second is akin to his own virtue over the least among you. This highlights the immense value of spreading religious knowledge and guidance over solely focusing on personal worship, even rigorous practices. The lecture stresses the importance of acquiring and disseminating knowledge beneficial to faith and society, rather than prioritizing worldly or purely scientific fields.
