The bestowal of knowledge upon Adam is central to understanding human potential and the acquisition of understanding. This potential, inherent in Adam, manifests as the ability to recognize, name, and comprehend the realities of all things. Knowledge is gained through observation, experience, and the processing of sensory data—hearing, sight, and intellect—building upon existing understanding. This acquired knowledge, while distinct from revealed knowledge received through divine guidance, expands exponentially with each generation. The potential for human knowledge is limitless, evidenced by rapid advancements in science and technology. The Quranic narrative also foreshadows a time when an individual will attain such mastery over natural forces that they will exhibit attributes associated with the Dajjal, demonstrating complete control over nature. This signifies the ultimate development of acquired knowledge and its potential consequences. The angels, in contrast, possess knowledge specific to their assigned roles, lacking the comprehensive potential granted to Adam.
