The purpose of messengers is to deliver glad tidings and warnings, ensuring that humanity has no excuse before Allah after their arrival. This accountability stems from the inherent faculties of reason, sight, and hearing granted to humankind, along with the capacity to distinguish between good and evil. While Allah possesses the absolute authority to hold people accountable even without messengers, their dispatch serves to complete the argument. Messengers were chosen for their exemplary character and delivered clear revelations, simplifying the process of guidance and removing any plea of ignorance. The ultimate function of these messengers is to provide clear proof and eliminate excuses, establishing a firm basis for judgment. The Prophet Muhammad’s mission involved both foundational and complementary aspects, solidifying guidance and ensuring its clarity.
