The human being is born into a state of weakness and dependence, yet Allah bestows remarkable faculties upon them, including hearing, sight, and intellect (aql). These are not merely physical attributes, but tools for perceiving and comprehending the world. Sensory data received through the eyes and ears is processed by the brain, analogous to data input into a computer, which then draws conclusions based on existing knowledge. This process enables understanding and fosters gratitude towards Allah for these blessings. The Quran emphasizes the importance of recognizing and appreciating these gifts, encouraging humans to use them to acknowledge the signs of Allah in creation. Furthermore, Allah provides for humanity’s basic needs – shelter, clothing from animals, and protection from the elements – demonstrating His continuous care and provision. These blessings are a call to submission and obedience to the Divine.
