Islamic eschatology details a sequence of future events culminating in the establishment of a global caliphate and the return of Jesus (Isa). Prophecies indicate a period of hardship for Muslims, particularly in the Arab world, followed by conflicts with Christian and Jewish alliances. This will be overcome with divine assistance through the arrival of the Imam Mahdi, a renewer who will emerge in the East—potentially including the regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan—and collaborate with Jesus. After overcoming the alliance, the forces of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) will emerge, but ultimately Islam will prevail, potentially for up to forty years. This era will be characterized by a caliphate adhering to the prophetic tradition, with Islam reaching every corner of the earth. The Quran and Hadith also mention a peaceful death for the faithful, spared from the tribulations to come, and a final, catastrophic event that will befall the wicked. The expansion of faith, as foretold, is linked to the fulfillment of divine promises and a complete submission to Allah.
