Surah Ash-Shu'ara details accounts of past prophets, notably Ibrahim, Nuh, Hud, Saleh, Lut, and Shu'aib. A significant portion focuses on the story of Prophet Musa (Moses) and his encounter with Pharaoh. Musa’s initial fear of being disbelieved and his speech impediment led him to request his brother Harun (Aaron) to assist in delivering Allah’s message to Pharaoh. Despite Pharaoh’s upbringing within his household and the benefits he received, he remained defiant. Musa presented clear signs – his staff transforming into a serpent and his illuminated hand – as proof of his divine mission. Pharaoh, however, accused Musa of sorcery and sought counsel from his advisors, who acknowledged Musa’s skill but viewed it as a threat to their rule. Musa affirmed that he was a messenger from the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and the Lord of the previous generations, inviting Pharaoh to believe. Pharaoh's refusal to acknowledge the one God led to escalating conflict.
