The inherent human disposition, or *fitra*, inclines individuals towards the worship of one God. This natural inclination, present from birth, is susceptible to influence from external factors such as upbringing and societal norms. The Quran emphasizes the importance of maintaining a sincere and unwavering devotion to Allah, aligning one’s entire life—thoughts, actions, and intentions—solely with His will. This alignment, described as *iqamat al-din*, involves a complete surrender to Allah and a rejection of all forms of association or polytheism. The verses highlight the consequences of straying from this path, noting that those who deviate will find no helper. True faith necessitates purifying one's devotion, ensuring all worship and actions are directed towards Allah alone, even in matters of family, livelihood, and worldly affairs. When faced with hardship, believers should turn to Allah, and in times of ease, they should remain grateful and avoid associating partners with Him. The Quran stresses fulfilling obligations to relatives, the needy, and travelers, demonstrating that sincere worship encompasses both spiritual devotion and social responsibility.
