568 - SAAD (Ayat# 34-40)
The narrative of Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon) highlights the importance of humility and reliance on Allah. The account details a period of testing where Sulaiman, granted immense power over jinn and the elements, momentarily faltered in his gratitude. He expressed confidence in his ability to fulfill a task the following day without acknowledging Allah’s will. This led to a temporary deprivation of divine guidance and a test of his faith. The story within Surah Kahf illustrates the principle that even prophets are accountable for their actions and words. Sulaiman’s subsequent repentance and plea for a kingdom unparalleled after him were answered by Allah, who demonstrated His power by subjugating the wind and jinn to his command, enabling him to accomplish extraordinary feats. This event serves as a reminder that true strength lies in acknowledging Allah’s sovereignty and seeking His assistance in all matters.
