The fulfillment of the Prophet Muhammad’s dream of performing Umrah, following the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, is detailed in this account. Initial anxieties arose when circumstances prevented its immediate completion, with some questioning the veracity of the prophetic vision. However, the subsequent events proved the dream’s accuracy. The following year, the Muslims were able to perform the ‘Umrah Qada’ (deferred Umrah), with Makkah remaining peaceful for three days, allowing them to partially fulfill their ritual. This event foreshadowed a greater opening and divine victory. The narrative connects this ‘Umrah Qada’ with the conquest of Khaybar, highlighting the spoils gained and the prosperity of the Jewish settlements. Allah promises the believers secure entry into the Masjid al-Haram, performing their rituals—cutting and shortening their hair—without fear. This assurance of safety and divine support underscores the ultimate triumph of Islam and the establishment of its principles in all aspects of life. The verse emphasizes Allah’s complete knowledge and His ability to bring about a swift victory, paving the way for the dominance of the true faith.
