True faith, or Iman, extends beyond mere verbal affirmation. It encompasses a firm conviction in Allah and His Messenger, devoid of doubt or skepticism. This deep-seated belief manifests not only in the heart but also in consistent righteous actions and striving in the path of Allah. The Quran distinguishes between Islam – the outward declaration and practice of faith – and Iman – the inner certainty and commitment. While a Muslim may adhere to the five pillars of Islam, achieving the status of a 'Mumin' (believer) requires a higher level of dedication, including sincere effort (Jihad) with one’s wealth and life for the sake of Allah. Those who consistently strive to uphold Allah’s commands and embody truthful faith are recognized as 'As-Sadiqoon' – the truthful ones. This necessitates a conscious rejection of systems that contradict divine guidance and a commitment to living a life dedicated to the elevation of Allah’s word, even amidst opposition. The Quran highlights a distinction between those who genuinely believe and those who merely profess faith, emphasizing the importance of aligning actions with inner conviction.
