665 - AL WAQIYAH (Ayat# 01-26)
Surah Al-Waqi'ah details the events of the Day of Judgment and the subsequent division of humanity. It describes the earth quaking, mountains crumbling, and people being categorized into three groups: the people of the right, the people of the left, and the foremost runners. Those on the right, blessed and secure, will dwell in gardens of bliss, enjoying a life of comfort and abundance. The foremost runners, those who drew near to Allah through piety and good deeds, will be closest to Him. The Surah highlights the varying degrees of reward in Paradise, with the earliest generations receiving greater favor. It depicts the inhabitants of Paradise being served by youthful attendants, offering them sealed cups of pure drink, and enjoying the fruits they desire. This Surah emphasizes that these blessings are a recompense for their deeds in the world, a testament to their faith and righteous actions.
