673 - AL HADEED (Ayat# 03-06)
The concept of Tawhid, or the Oneness of Allah, is explored through the attributes of Al-Awwal (The First), Al-Akhir (The Last), Az-Zahir (The Manifest), and Al-Batin (The Hidden). These attributes emphasize Allah's absolute primacy, encompassing all of existence from beginning to end, and His presence in both the apparent and the concealed. The Quran highlights Allah’s complete knowledge of everything that enters the earth, exits it, descends from the heavens, and ascends into them. This all-encompassing awareness extends to what resides within the hearts of all beings. The verses underscore Allah’s sovereignty over the heavens and the earth, and that all matters ultimately return to Him. The cyclical nature of day and night further demonstrates His power and control. Understanding these attributes fosters a deeper appreciation for Allah’s majesty and His constant presence in all aspects of creation.
