The establishment of a just and equitable system, as ordained by Allah, has historically faced resistance from those benefiting from existing inequalities. This struggle between justice and oppression is a recurring theme throughout prophetic history, evidenced by the descent of scriptures and the establishment of divine laws. Those entrenched in unjust systems, enjoying privileges and engaging in practices like political repression or economic exploitation, will naturally resist change. Surah Al-Mujadilah highlights this conflict, detailing the opposition to Allah and His Messenger – which fundamentally represents opposition to divine guidance and the implementation of a righteous order. This opposition isn’t personal; it’s a rejection of the truth itself. The Quranic verses emphasize that those who actively oppose Allah and His Messenger will face consequences, both in this world and the hereafter. Divine knowledge and accountability are absolute; every action is recorded, and individuals will be held responsible for their deeds. Secretive plotting and collusion are also addressed, revealing that Allah is aware of all conversations, even those held in private.
