This lecture clarifies that fulfilling the obligation of joining a collective Islamic movement requires a pledge of allegiance (bay'at) to an organization like Tanzeem-e-Islami. Cooperation with an organization without formally joining does not equate to fulfilling this obligation. While cooperation is possible even outside a formal group, it lacks the discipline and commitment inherent in being part of an organized movement. True adherence to the principles of collective action, or *iltizam-e-jamaat*, is founded on the pledge of allegiance. Therefore, individuals desiring to genuinely contribute to an Islamic organization must formally join through *bay'at*.
