Falsafa aur Iman - Philosophy vs. Faith - Dr. Israr Ahmad
Humanity universally grapples with fundamental questions concerning the nature of reality, the self, the meaning of life, good and evil, and the sources of knowledge. Individuals often adopt answers consciously or unconsciously influenced by their societal upbringingโwhether Hindu, Christian, or secular. Philosophical inquiry approaches these questions through reason and intellect, offering conclusions presented as informed opinions, acknowledging inherent limitations. Conversely, prophetic revelation posits answers derived from a source beyond human thought, claiming absolute certainty. While the questions remain consistent across both approaches, the nature of the answers fundamentally differsโone a product of human reasoning, the other, a claim of divine inspiration.
