Opportunities for illicit gain are readily available, while legitimate, honest livelihoods are scarce. Marriage is obstructed by unreasonable conditions. The dominance of falsehood over truth represents the greatest trial, a societal fitna far more dangerous than physical violence. This lecture explores the pervasive nature of corruption and its impact on spiritual and moral well-being, highlighting the challenges of living a righteous life in a corrupt world.
