Inqilabi Siyasat - Revolutionary Politics by Dr Israr Ahmad
Revolutionary politics centers on three key elements: initiating intellectual and ideological change, transforming ethics and actions, and the power of a disciplined minority. Systems are founded on ideologies, and changing a system requires introducing an alternative. This alternative must permeate public consciousness. When this new ideology takes root, it leads to a corresponding transformation in behavior. Revolution rarely originates with a majority; it begins with a dedicated minority. This minority’s success relies on organization, discipline, and a willingness to sacrifice. Historical examples, including the early Islamic community and the Russian Revolution, demonstrate that revolutionary movements are often driven by a small, highly organized group, not a popular majority. The power lies in their commitment and disciplined action.
