True success isn't measured by wealth, possessions, or business expansion, but by faith, righteous deeds, maintaining ties with relatives, and patience in adversity. Material gains are irrelevant without these four foundational elements. A person lacking these qualities, even with worldly power and abundance, remains unsuccessful. Conversely, one possessing these qualities is successful, regardless of their social standing or material circumstances. Shifting our definition of success is crucial for living a life aligned with Islamic principles. The pursuit of worldly success based on flawed definitions leads to spiritual emptiness, as highlighted by Iqbal.
