It emphasizes that the idea of an instantaneous, worldwide Caliphate is historically inaccurate, as any establishment would have begun with the Prophet himself. The Caliphate fragmented into various dynasties, including the Umayyads, Abbasids, Fatimids, and Ottomans, each controlling specific regions. The limitations of geographical barriers, like the Caucasus Mountains, also hindered complete expansion.
