Genuine good deeds require sincere intention solely for the pleasure of God. Any other motivation—seeking praise, worldly gain, leadership, or power—nullifies the act, rendering it worthless. A deed performed with any intention other than seeking God’s approval is considered hypocrisy. Accountability rests solely with God. This lecture emphasizes the importance of *ikhlas* (sincerity) and the dangers of *riya* (showing off) in worship and righteous actions. A single impure intention can invalidate an entire act of devotion, reducing its reward to zero. True worship is rooted in selfless devotion and the pursuit of God's pleasure alone.
