Quran Ka Nazool - Dr Israr Ahmad

This lecture details the two stages of the Quran’s revelation. The complete Quran exists eternally on the ‘Lauh Mahfuz’ (Preserved Tablet). Its initial descent ('inzal') occurred in its entirety during Ramadan, while the subsequent revelation ('tanzil') was gradual, spanning approximately 23 years of Prophet Muhammad’s life, beginning around 610 CE and concluding in 632 CE. The Quran is a complete guidance for all of humanity, addressing people of all times and backgrounds. However, the benefit of this guidance is best realized by those with piety (taqwa). The speaker clarifies a common misinterpretation regarding the scope of Quranic guidance, noting its applicability to all people (‘adl lin-nas’) as opposed to only the righteous (‘adl lil-muttaqin’).
