Quran Ka Nazool - Dr Israr Ahmad

This lecture details the two stages of the Quran’s revelation. The complete Quran exists eternally on the ‘Lauh Mahfuz’ (The Preserved Tablet), and was revealed in its entirety during the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr). This initial, complete descent is termed ‘Inzal’. Subsequently, the Quran was revealed piecemeal over twenty-two years to Prophet Muhammad, a process known as ‘Tanzil’. The Quran is presented as a complete guidance for all of humanity, relevant across all times and cultures, though its benefit is fully realized by those who possess piety. It is a source of direction for both the learned and the common person, the Bedouin Arab and the modern individual.
