This lecture details the life of Salman al-Farsi, from his birth in Persia as the son of a fire worshipper, to his journey seeking spiritual fulfillment. He left his home due to his rejection of idol worship and travelled extensively, becoming a Christian monk. Dissatisfied, he learned from his mentor that a prophet would soon arise in Arabia. Captured and sold as a slave, he ended up in Medina, where he recognized Muhammad as the awaited prophet. He presented a gift of dates to the Prophet, which were initially refused as charity but accepted as a present. Salman al-Farsi embraced Islam and became a close companion of the Prophet, renowned for his wisdom and considered among the People of the House.
