A person deeply entrenched in sin and prejudice experiences a dimming of their inherent spiritual nature. The path to reformation begins with understanding their beliefs and misconceptions. Purification of thought, focusing on the principles of Tawhid (Oneness of God), accountability, and Prophethood, is paramount. Once faith takes root in the heart and mind, negative habits and character flaws will naturally diminish. This process, known as Tazkiya, prioritizes intellectual purification as a precursor to moral refinement.

The earliest form of worship was standing in prayer at night, initially for two-thirds, then one-third of the night, with recitation of the Quran. At that time, only a portion of the Quran had been revealed. Later, during the eleventh year, five daily prayers were mandated in Makkah. Before this, practices like fasting, interest, gambling, and alcohol were not prohibited. There was no complete established Sharia law; only faith (Iman) existed.

Islamic principles dictate that the financial responsibility for a wedding lies with the groom’s family, not the bride’s. Marriage is a necessity for both men and women, completing each other’s lives. The mahr, or dower, is paid by the groom to the bride, symbolizing his commitment and responsibility. It is not a price for the bride, nor a purchase, but a token of commitment and a recognition of her value. Mahr can be determined in various forms, including goods, services, or the commitment to teach the bride Quran. It represents the man's capability to fulfill his obligations and the woman’s acceptance of this commitment.

On the Day of Judgement, disbelievers will lament their past actions, begging for a second chance to worship and obey God, promising to abstain from evil. They will be reminded of how they mocked the early believers – the poor, slaves, and needy – who were steadfast in their faith. God declares He has rewarded their patience today, affirming they are the true victors and will enter Paradise. This highlights the ultimate triumph of faith over worldly status and the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.

True faith is demonstrated through actions motivated solely by devotion to God. Loving for God's sake and hating for God's sake are fundamental aspects of complete faith. Giving and withholding should also be done solely to please God, adhering to divine command. A believer’s love and animosity stem from adherence to or rejection of God’s principles, not personal desires. Fulfilling these four conditions – loving for God, hating for God, giving for God, and withholding for God – completes one’s faith.
