Prophethood and Messengership progressed gradually, reaching their peak and culminating in completion. This fulfillment of the mission and perfection of prophecy forms the foundation of Muhammad’s excellence. The greatest manifestation of the completion of Messengership is that no other messenger achieved the dominance of God’s religion through their call, propagation, organization, struggle, and striving—except Muhammad, the Messenger of God. Every prophet was a caller, a proclaimer, a teacher, and a guide. However, Muhammad, the Messenger of God, was not merely a caller, a proclaimer, a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, an exemplar, or a caller to God, but the one who actually established God’s religion.

Humans are inherently equipped with the capacity to discern between right and wrong, good and evil, through the innate knowledge instilled within their souls. While individuals possess the ability to self-assess and find answers within their own hearts, external factors like forgetfulness, personal desires, and spiritual rust can obscure this innate knowledge. This lecture emphasizes the importance of seeking and maintaining a connection with this inner guidance.

Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani emphasized that true power and provision come solely from Allah. The Quran states that true believers possess an intense love for God. This love surpasses all other affections, even those for family. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized that complete faith is unattainable unless he is more beloved to a person than their father, son, or all of humanity. This love is not merely an emotion but is manifested through obedience. However, obedience becomes true worship only when performed with a sincere and passionate devotion to God, driven by the spirit of divine love. It is the inner feeling of love that transforms acts of worship into a meaningful connection with the Divine.
