The Quran offers two levels of comprehension: understanding its lessons (tazkir bil Quran) and deeply reflecting upon it (tadabbur bil Quran). Tazkir bil Quran involves deriving moral and practical guidance. Tadabbur requires consistent contemplation and deeper analysis. Achieving success necessitates mastering both levels, as the principles derived from Tazkir form the logical foundation for the insights gained through Tadabbur. Understanding these levels leads to personal transformation, emphasizing the importance of faith, righteous deeds, truthfulness, and compassion. Those who embrace these principles avoid loss and attain spiritual fulfillment.

Dr. Israr Ahmad unequivocally states that the 20th century’s greatest Islamic thinker was a lover of God and a herald of the revival of the Muslim community. He wasn’t merely aware of this revival, but actively foretold it, specifically predicting the resurgence of the Hashemite lineage. He proclaimed the imminent arrival of a book for the pure community, and a great leader from the Hashemite lineage. He was, therefore, both a scholar and a prophet of this revival, and most importantly, a beacon of the second Islamic era.

This lecture explores the prophetic declaration that the message of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was intended for all of humanity, referencing the Quranic verse, “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a messenger to all people.” It discusses the incomplete realization of divine governance on Earth and emphasizes that the ultimate triumph of God’s religion over all of humankind is yet to be fully achieved. The lecture draws upon the poetry of Allama Iqbal to highlight the ongoing nature of this divine plan and the necessity for continued effort in establishing the dominance of the truth.

This lecture explores the interplay between divine decree (taqdeer) and the efficacy of prayer (dua). It clarifies that while Allah has knowledge of all outcomes, sincere supplication can influence events within the bounds of His will. The discussion addresses whether good deeds and prayers can increase blessings or mitigate difficulties ordained by Allah. It also explains the concepts of fixed and suspended decree, and how human actions, both righteous and otherwise, impact one's sustenance and blessings. Finally, it highlights that increased blessings can also manifest as greater barakah (divine blessing) within existing provisions, stemming from contentment and divine grace.
