True *tasbeeh* is the silent testimony of creation to its perfect Creator, a being free from all flaws, weakness, and dependence.

True humanity is defined by setting and striving towards goals. Achieving any significant objective requires dedicated effort, perseverance, and self-discipline. Success demands overcoming base instincts and enduring hardship. Just as a diver must descend into the ocean to retrieve pearls, one must work tirelessly to attain a higher station in life. Those who seek elevation without exertion will find their lives wasted in futile thinking. Genuine progress necessitates consistent effort and a willingness to sacrifice comfort for achievement.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) observed a group discussing the Quran, not in a formal lecture, but in a lively exchange. He inquired if they bore witness to the truth of the declaration: ‘There is no god but Allah, and I am His Messenger, and this Quran is from Allah.’ They affirmed their testimony. The Prophet then instructed them to rejoice, for the Quran is a treasure both in their hands and with Allah.

The Quran states that this world will flourish through the blessing of *tawheed* (oneness of God). The purpose of Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) prophethood was to serve as a bearer of glad tidings and a warning to all of humanity. The completion of the illumination of *tawheed* and the fulfillment of its purpose remain ongoing tasks. This lecture emphasizes the enduring relevance of this message and the continuing need to strive for its realization.

This lecture details three elements that lead to salvation and three that lead to destruction. Salvation is achieved through fear of God in both private and public, speaking the truth regardless of anger or pleasure, and fulfilling one’s obligations. Destruction stems from following one's desires, excessive love of wealth, and self-admiration. Self-regard is presented as the most dangerous of these destructive traits, hindering spiritual progress and distancing one from divine guidance.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) compared the heart to iron; just as iron rusts when exposed to water, the heart corrodes with sin and worldly attachment. He outlined two remedies for this spiritual rust: constant remembrance of death and recitation of the Quran. The temporary nature of worldly life should be acknowledged; this world is not our true home, but a temporary abode. We were created for the afterlife, and focusing on that ultimate destination purifies the heart and prepares it for eternal peace.
